Librarian Katie McGinnis Receives Regional Excellence Award

We are proud to share that Burton Street Library Media Specialist, Mrs. Katie McGinnis, has been selected as a winner of the Central New York School Librarians Soaring Through Excellence Super Librarian Award. This honor recognizes Mrs. McGinnis’s dedicated leadership and her proactive approach to integrating the state’s Computer Science and Digital Fluency standards into our curriculum. Through her work modernizing the Burton Street library and facilitating instructional technology workshops for her colleagues, Mrs. McGinnis has fostered a comprehensive learning environment where both students and staff feel empowered to embrace new tools.
