Cazenovia students achieve impressive AP scores

We’re excited to share some standout 2024 AP exam scores. Cazenovia High School students outperformed state and global competition in 10/12 exams. We had 335 students take exams, 77% scored a 3 or higher.

An AP score of 3 means you are qualified to receive college credit and placement if you earn that score. An exam score of 4 or 5 means the student is very well qualified or extremely well qualified for college credit and placement. The score also helps students assess the equivalent college course grade for each score.

The exams are created and scored by teams of AP teachers and college professors. They are designed to measure how well students have mastered the content and skills of a specific AP course. Most AP courses have an end-of-year exam, but a few courses have a different assessment process. For example, AP Art and Design students submit a portfolio of work for scoring.

Most U.S. colleges grant credit, advanced placement, or both for qualifying AP scores.

Congratulations on this academic achievement!
