New 'Brown Bag Club' to Provide Mentorship & Encourages Inclusive Collaboration

The Brown Bag Club, a new Club organized by Killian Blouin, Cy Abbott, and Gabe Lowenstein, had their first meeting this week. The purpose of the club is to bring together Juniors and Seniors and 7th graders.

The Club’s volunteers sit and eat lunch with middle school students on the third Thursday of the month. The primary goal of the club is to provide mentorship, promote positive values, create a safe and inclusive environment, as well as personal development.

Killian, Cy and Gabe are all seniors in Mrs. Sessler's Participation in Government class and this new club was an idea the students developed as part of a capstone civics project.
