MCHD Announces Outdoor Extravaganza to Kick Off “Get Your Shot Together” Event on September 18

Madison County is excited to announce the first annual “Get Your Shot Together” music festival on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the Good Nature Farm Brewery in Hamilton. “Get Your Shot Together” is a new campaign developed by the Madison County Health Department with a grant from New York State. The goal is to encourage our community, especially young adults to focus on their overall health and well-being, that includes being up to date on immunizations like the COVID-19 vaccine.

WHAT: “Get Your Shot Together” will offer a fun afternoon and evening for Madison County residents, and our neighbors. Complete with three free concerts featuring several of Central New York’s best local bands, and delicious food and drinks from Good Nature, as they “get their shot together.”

? Uncle Charlie and the Meatballs will kick the day off at 2:00 PM with their unique blues rock
? Last Left will be bringing favorite hits from the 80s to today to the stage around 3:30 PM
? The Beadle Brothers will wrap up the day with country hits beginning around 5:00 PM

WHEN: The concerts begin at 2:00 PM and last into the evening.

WHO: Vendors from across the state will offer resources to help attendees work on their overall health and well-being, and to get it all together! Some of the vendors include Healing Within, Utica University and Community Memorial Hospital. Additionally, the Madison County Health Department will have all their information and resources available for preventative health, including COVID-19 and Flu vaccines.
